The Interprofessional Commission of Ohio at The Ohio State University is a non-profit corporation housed within the College of Education and Human Ecology.  We work to bring people together to work collaboratively around complex educational, social, and policy issues.  Based on the belief that society’s problems are too complex for one profession to adequately impact, we work with students, academicians, practitioners, and community members to identify and address the systemic causes of, and the conditions that foster ongoing inequities in our society.

At any given time there are multiple projects going on in our office.  From course delivery, to curriculum development, to program implementation, to outcomes research projects there is always excitement at the ICO.  We work within The Ohio State University and in conjunction with other state and national organizations to promote collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches to impacting challenging societal problems.
