the interprofessional commission of ohio

The Interprofessional Commission of Ohio is a non-profit corporation housed in the Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology. We bring professionals together to work collaboratively around complex social issues in order to improve professional practice, service delivery, and public policy.  Based on the belief that society’s problems are too complex for one profession to solve, we work with students, academicians, practitioners, and community members to identify and address the systemic causes of, and the conditions that foster, ongoing inequities and professional isolation in our society.

Working collaboratively with the Colleges of Education, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Social Work, Pharmacy, the Schools of Allied Medicine, Public Health, and the Theological Consortium of Greater Columbus, we deliver interprofessional education training at The Ohio State University through graduate coursework.  We  also provide additional services including:

  1.   Professional Development

  4.   Policy Analysis

  5.   Program Delivery
